Denise Heebner is a UX/UI Designer, Front End Developer, and Photographer based in Austin, TX. She has been running Oxford Haus, a freelance creative studio specializing in UX/UI Design, Photography, Graphic Design, Web Development, and Responsive Design since 2013.
Denise was born and raised in New York and has lived and worked in Philadelphia, Phoenix, Scottsdale, Austin, and San Diego. Prior to starting Oxford Haus, Denise worked for over 10 years in the marketing, project management and editorial fields. She holds advanced degrees in Counseling, has studied Photography, and Design Thinking at UCLA, Front End Development at UC San Diego, and is certified in UX/UI Design from the University of Texas at Austin. Denise is also a 2018 Google Developer Challenge Scholarship recipient, studying front end web development. Denise's aesthetic is heavily influenced by minimalism, nature, mid-century modern design, and the works of the Bauhaus, Ansel Adams, Paul Rand, Charles + Ray Eames, Saul Bass, and Frank Lloyd Wright.
In her spare time Denise loves to travel, particularly in the western US, take photographs, read, hike, trail run, write, and draw.
